Ambreen Ali is a computer engineer turned global business strategist, with over 20 years of experience across Europe, Australia, and South Asia—operating at the intersection of international business, trade, and enterprise transformation. A former professional sportswoman, she brings a performance-driven mindset to her work—combining discipline, resilience, and strategic focus in navigating complex business environments.
She began her career with a leading multinational bank in Bangladesh, building a strong foundation in financial systems and corporate operations. In pursuit of broader strategic depth, she moved to Sweden for advanced studies, completing her second Master’s degree before relocating to Australia to undertake a Ph.D. in Business.
Over the course of her career, Ambreen has developed deep expertise in international business and trade, supply chain ecosystems, and dynamic capability creation—enabling organizations to adapt, scale, and remain competitive in complex global markets. Her work spans mergers & acquisitions, strategic alliances, change management, and large-scale project execution, consistently bridging high-level strategy with on-ground operational realities.
Alongside this, she brings a strong command of marketing, advertising, and brand building—advising startups and growth-stage ventures on positioning, narrative development, and market entry. Her ability to align business strategy with brand thinking allows her to deliver integrated, end-to-end strategic direction across both corporate and entrepreneurial environments.
Ambreen has collaborated with globally recognized organizations including Volvo Trucks, UNICEF EU, Procter & Gamble EU, Västtrafik Sweden, Nudie Jeans, H&M, ActionAid, Maarch Architects, and IKEA, alongside leading Bangladeshi groups such as Akij Group, Edison Group, Urban Developments, MG Properties, Keya Cosmetics, Halda Valley, Realme, Mir Cement, and Meghna Insurance—contributing to initiatives spanning market expansion, operational transformation, sustainability integration, and long-term value creation.
Her professional journey includes roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Daxam Sustainability Services, United Leasing Company, and as a faculty member at Curtin University’s Department of Business and Law (Australia), alongside engagements with UNDP (Europe) and Volvo Cars (Sweden). Across these roles, she has consistently operated within multicultural, multi-market environments, combining academic insight with real-world execution.
